Myranda Czubak is the Director of Talent Acquisition and Development at Waterford.org, the organization seeks to blend the best aspects of learning science, mentoring relationships, and innovative technologies to form community, school, and home programs that deliver excellence and equity for all learners. With career experience that spans tourism, manufacturing, educational technology, and tech industries, Myranda is most proud of her work innovating the talent acquisition processes at numerous organizations to provide data-rich resources during the recruitment process.

Myrand has her Masters of Human Resource Management, passed her PHR exam, and is a SHRM-CP certified professional.  She started her HR career as a dolphin trainer - yes, you read that right, a dolphin trainer! Believe it or not, working with dolphins is directly related to human resources because the same principles that govern animal behavior govern human behavior. Working as a dolphin trainer helped Myranda learn about different aspects of business and people management that became invaluable as her career evolved.

Using Data to Make Hiring Decisions

Implementing a process supported with the right resources is key to a successful talent acquisition strategy.  Data collection is a critical element.  Using that data to make hiring decisions is invaluable. Join us for this insightful session with TA pro Myranda Czubak, Director of Talent Acquisition and Development at Waterford.org.  Myranda will discuss how to standardize interview questions and identify position competencies, utilize a candidate score, reference data to use to compare candidates' scores internally and externally, and share the tools used to remove gender, age and racial language from job postings based on data collected.
