Monica Bowen (Her/She) is an experienced Talent Acquisition, Management, and Strategy leader at JAMS. She is passionate about building and leveraging the candidate’s experience to attract diverse talent into the organization. Monica has built her organization’s Talent Acquisition from the ground up, including DEI in recruitment, candidate engagement, employer branding, and talent strategy.

At JAMS, Monica drives diversity because she understands how a more inclusive environment will enrich the organizational culture and help build their core values.

In her career, Monica has leveraged employer branding to increase the talent pool and future pipelines. This has enabled her to decrease agency placement fees while increasing the quality of hire, reducing the attrition rate, and increasing candidate/manager satisfaction.

Staying current on industry developments, technology, and trends has allowed Monica and her team to remain nimble and provide responsive and relevant support to the organization during these dynamic and challenging times.

Monica likes to spend as much time outdoors as possible gardening and walking/hiking in her spare time. She has fulfilled a long-time goal of becoming a CASA -Court Appointed Special Advocate—a great volunteer opportunity to support foster children.
