Jamie Starner

Jamie Starner is a restaurant recruitment trailblazer with over 10 years of experience in recruiting. Currently, she serves as the Sr. Director of Talent Acquisition & Retention at bartaco, the upscale street food restaurant brand with a coastal vibe in a relaxed environment. In addition to her role at bartaco, she is the Founder and President of the Restaurant Recruitment Roundtable. Prior to her current roles, Jamie served as National Director of Recruiting and Diversity at Benihana, mentor at Veterati, and Board Member for the AZ Recruiters Chapter. Other previous roles include National Talent Acquisition Manager at Kona Grill and Contract Recruiter at both Paychex and P.F. Chang’s.

Jamie is passionate about community service, human rights, and animal welfare, and has volunteered at a number of nonprofit organizations, including Fresh Start Women’s Foundation, Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Phoenix, and Pathways Home Animal Rescue. She holds an M.Ed in Human Relations, Certificate in Compensation Studies from eCornell, and SHRM-CP certification.
