Marvin Smith is a Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition for BECU. As a Talent Acquisition Leader specializing in talent engagement, Marvin Smith utilizes his knowledge of talent acquisition, talent recruitment marketing, and HR technology to create tailored strategies that address the demands of the digital talent marketplace.

Before BECU, Marvin had a successful history of leading inventive talent engagement projects for prominent organizations such as Lockheed Martin, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Microsoft, and several startups. These initiatives employed HR technology and tools to foster connections with target talent audiences and fulfill workforce plans.

Marvin shares his expertise and ideas through writing, speaking, and participating in discussions at various talent acquisition industry events. He serves on the Board of Sourcing 7, a talent-sourcing community.

During his leisure time, Marvin indulges in his passion for wildlife and bird photography, frequently joined by his wife Joanna and their French Bulldog, Magpie.
