Christina Hisamoto

Christina Hisamoto currently leads the Office of Talent Acquisition team at The California Department of Transportation, otherwise known as Caltrans. With a little over 17 years of experience in various aspects of HR within the State department, including Selections Testing and Validation (Examinations), Workforce Planning, Recruitment, and Community Outreach. She is a multi-faceted HR leader who continues to strive for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at all levels of the organization. She is extremely passionate about her work with underserved communities, especially in reducing recidivism within the State prison system and city/county jails across the State of California. Under Christina’s leadership, the Caltrans Office of Talent Engagement was one of the recipients of the Handshake Early Talent Awards for 2024.
