Kara Mignanelli

Kara Mignanelli is the founder and conference producer of Talent Acquisition Week, a community she has been building for more than 15 years. She also serves as SVP of People and General Counsel at Global Strategic Management Institute (GSMI).

Kara has spent much of her career in the people space and has a deep appreciation for the work—and the people—behind talent acquisition. She loves bringing the TA community together and creating a conference where people can learn from each other, have real conversations, and leave with ideas they can actually use.

Kara lives in San Diego with her husband and their two sons. When she’s not producing TA Week, you’ll find her reading, hiking around Point Loma and Sunset Cliffs, carpooling to and from kids’ sports, or planning her next adventure abroad.
