Michael Goldberg

Senior Director of Talent Acquisition and Sourcing
U.S. Renal Care

Recruiting and Sourcing Strategist, Candidate Experience Advocate, and Data Nut all describe Michael. He brings a unique talent of strategic HR and Recruiting experiences especially when it comes to servicing his internal and external customers.  Michael has helped companies across a variety of industries over his 20-something years of TA experience, but the last six have been focused on turning recruiting functions from good to great.

His mantra: Recruiters and Recruiting leaders need to quit being complacent. Instead, be curious, be an advisor, and push yourself to be better than you were the day before.

Over the last fifteen months, Michael has been the Director of Talent Acquisition at US Renal Care (3rd largest dialysis provider), building out recruiting and sourcing processes, bringing new sourcing technologies, developing core metrics and reporting, and recently launched the company’s first sourcing function. Prior to USRC, Michael founded and led Hiring Transformed, where he worked with medium to Fortune 500 clients to improve the Talent Acquisition team’s overall performance in the areas of process improvement, metrics, internal mobility training, and recruiter performance.

Michael lives in Dallas, Texas, with his wife of 31 years and three pups.  He used to have three children but for some reason, they grew up and live in the Northeast.
